Part 2 of Last Week

Friday

Friday Michelle wanted to go to a couple of places to see if we could get some nice Wordless Wednesday pictures. She knew of a very nice fountain at a cemetery, so our first stop was the cemetery. She was right, the fountain was a great place to take some photos of Faith. I snapped one of her too. HE HE HE HE :-) I took some nice pictures there but this one of Faith looking up at Jesus is my favorite. We finished up there and headed to a local park. On the way to the park we stopped off at the thrift shop. I wanted to show Michelle where I had gotten my good deals on books. I just could not leave without buying more books. I bought 5 more books to add to my growing pile of things to read. We were off to the park. I have been to this park several times but there were places in the park I had never known were there. Michelle wanted to show me all the cool places. Michelle and her Hubby spend the summers camping here so she knows the park inside and out. This picture does not even come close to how beautiful it was there.I had Michelle take a picture of me on the dock. It was so peaceful there. I want to come back and picnic here this summer. We walked on a trail through the woods that lead us to the other side of the lake and the camp grounds. Faith picked me a flower on our walk over there. Michelle spotted a turtle and went after the little guy. I could not believe she caught him, he was moving fast. Faith was not to excited to see him, so Michelle let him go. This is Faith waving Bye to him. We did a lot of walking and I took a picture of the both of them walking a head of me.Michelle thought this spot was good for a picture and she was right. This is Faith at the top of a hill we had to walk up. I almost killed myself walking up the dang thing, walking down was so much easier.Michelle had told me about a labyrinth in the park. I never knew it was there. Faith had to pose one more time before Michelle and I walked the labyrinth. I took this photo when we were exactly across from each other following the maze. You never know what you miss in life unless you go looking for it. We had a great time Friday on our little trip.

Saturday

I liked it so much that I went back on Saturday to show Beth and Kevin. Beth has been camping in this park for years. She knew about the docks and just had to pose for a picture. Then I had her take one of me. You could tell I was tired from the previous days events. She did not know about the maze. I showed her and Kevin the maze and they both walked it.
After Beth was done she just had to be funny so she had me take a picture of her half dead after walking it. She is such a corn ball.

We walked on some trails and by the time we were done, I was done. I went home to relax for the rest of the day.

Sunday
Stacy stopped by on Sunday for a short visit. Her parents had taken a trip to Mexico and brought me back a gift. They know how much I like frogs so they brought me one. I have a frog that came all the way from Mexico. He is soooooooo cute. I was invited to a Birthday Party for my sister's kids. My niece and nephew were having there Birthday party together at the roller rink. This is my nephew Cody. This is my niece Caitlyn. The party was fun and I really loved watching the kids skate.

Monday

We had a big storm here on Monday. There was a lot of wind and hail. I just had to get this shot of the sky.
This is my camera, for those of you who have asked about my photos and what camera I use. It is a Sanyo and I got it at Wal-mart for $85.00. I have dropped it and the poor thing has gone through the ringer. It also sucks the life out of AA batteries. I need to just buy a battery company. HE HE HE HE HE :

First Part of Last Week

I have been having a very eventful week all week. I am going to have to write this in 2 parts because there is so much to tell.

Last Sunday the 20th, it was so nice out that Stacy came over with her 2 girls and we sat outside and talked. My friends Beth and Tiffany came over also. Tiffany and Katelynn,Stacy's youngest daughter, sat in the grass looking for 4 leaf clovers.

It took them a while but Tiffany did find one.On Monday Michelle came over for a visit and to bring me a book. This book is cool because at the end of every chapter there is a place to write my feelings about what I read. The kids were playing ball in the back yard. Gage took the ball away from Faith. She tried to take it back, but she was just not strong enough. Faith decide to give her bubby a good slap. He just laughed at her. She tried to hit him in the family jewels, but that did not work. She even tickled him and he still sat on her ball.Aunt Sindi came along and pushed him off the ball. Faith was Happy again. HE HE HE HE On Tuesday I went to a second hand store with Stacy. I bought 4 books and a belt for my son and I only spent $2.00. Stacy and I went back to my house for a big glass of my wonderful tea. Bill from down the street came over to visit us. He brought baby Bill to visit also. We had a very nice visit before Stacy had to head home to cook dinner. The first part of last week was pretty great. I hope to post tomorrow about my very exhausting but fun weekend.
Have A Great week Everyone!

Hurting!

I had another post in mind to publish. It was a happy one like I always try to publish. One that would make you happy and smile because of all the wonderful friends I have. Tonight something happened to one of those friends that caused me not to feel so wonderful and joyful.

I have always been know as a girl with meat on her bones. I have spend most of my life being a big girl and being made fun of for it. I have always excepted who I am and thank God for it because I feel that it has made me a stronger person. I have learned to overlook the ignorants of others and to love people for who they are and not for what they look like. I think I am a much better person for it.

Tonight a friend went to dinner with her family. We have all done it and we cherish the time we get to spend with family. She is a big girl like me and has always walked with her head held high. Tonight she was brought to tears by the insensitive comments of others. Comments to disgrace her in front of family and strangers. These comments were not provoked or asked for, but given freely by teenagers who don't even understand the harm they have caused.

We live in a nation where everyone has the freedom to say what they please. Even though we have these freedoms, it does not mean that every thought that goes through your head should be spoken. How do I teach someone to overlook the heartlessness of others as I have? How do you stop the hurting that was brought on by another? How can I stand there and look her in the face and say "forgive them" when I myself feel sometimes not so forgiving? Life is to short to hold in the pain that others have brought on you but sometimes it can be so hard to stop the Hurting.

True Love Tag

I was tagged by Speedcat Hollydale for this meme. I was thinking about answering it with a few funny comment but then decided to answer it as truthful as I can.

*******Copy the questions and answer them honestly*********

1.)What does true love me to you?
Loving with no strings attached. That means no fancy house, no fancy car and no fancy clothes. If you had everything taken away tomorrow could your love for each other get you through it. I guess that is kind of mushy but what do you expect, I am a girl who use to believe in fairy tales.

2.)How do you know if your really in love?
That one is a toughie. I guess it is when you give of your self whole heartily. If you find yourself putting up with stuff that if a sibling pulled it you would knock their block off.LOL

3.)How many times in your life have you fallen in love?
More then I can count, but that doesn't mean they loved me back.

4.)Do you feel love and physical attraction are the same thing?
No because you can fall in love with someone you have never met before.

5.)If your true love became ill or disfigured would you continue to love them the same way?
I don't think I would have a problem with it. I think I would love them different because they themselves would be a different person. Someone who would go through a disfigurement would have a different attitude and outlook on life, but as long as the person inside were still there I know I would have no problem.

6.)Should anyone else be able to tell you who to love or not love?
They could try, but it would do no good. You can't help who you fall in love with and no one can change how you feel no matter what they say.

7.)Do you believe people that ended up divorced were ever truly in love?
I use to believe they were but now I think people get to caught up in the illusion of Love. Maybe they were in love but as they grew older they changed and did not change together.

8.)Would you give up something you want for someone you love?
Yes! I have done it before and I would do it again as long as it isn't my son.

9.)If you truly love someone do you feel it should be unconditional?
YES, but I am afraid there may not be to many people in the world left that know what that means.

I am not going to tag anyone for this.

EARTHQUAKE ! ! !

I was woke up today by the room shaking. I could hear the glass doors on the bedroom entertainment center shaking. I rolled over and told the Hubby that the room was shaking. He told me I was nuts and went back to sleep. I went back to sleep myself to be awaken by Hubby yelling that the news said there was an earthquake. All I could do was look at him and say" See I told you I wasn't nuts". He gave me a look and walked away, he hates it when I am right.

Earthquake

The day went as it always does when I hear the glass on the entertainment center shaking again and I feel the house shaking. My dog came running in and just stopped and looked at me. I told him we would be fine but I think I said it more for me then for him. This time I thought I was nuts. I called Stacy of My Thoughts and as soon as she picked up the phone she says"Did you feel that?" I told her yes and that was the reason for my phone call. She tells me that the news caster just came on so I had to run to the living room to turn on the T.V. He reported that we had an after shock. There had been 4-5 aftershocks but this one was more intense then the others.

My Brother came over and he had brought me lunch. He tells me that I can have it after I come out to the van and see what he has bought. I was not going to say no. He bought me my favorite all time chicken. This chicken is not just normal chicken. This chicken is the bomb bay baby. This is a photo of a dozen Garlic Parmesan chicken wings. Yummy! We go out to the van and there in the trunk is a horseshoe set, new basketball and a stronger volley ball set. He then tells me that he has found about 4 more games for our summer of fun but he has to wait until next week to get them.

After lunch my friend Beth shows up and then our friend Evan, from across the street, comes over. My Brother, Chris, talks us all into a game of horse shoes.I did not do so good but I had fun. This is Evan but I call him Evan Almighty.LOLThis was Beth's first time playing and she started to get pretty good. She was very happy when she made her first ringer. This is a picture of Chris and Evan. There was a small accident while we were playing. My yard is just a bit to small and my brother threw the horseshoe just a bit to hard and then our cooler just jumped right out in front of him.LOL We have a nice big hole in it now. I couldn't help but laugh. It was the first time in my life I have ever seen my brother's bottom lip hit the ground. LOLMichelle of Rusin Roundup stopped in for a quick visit with little Faith. Faith was wearing her cheerleader outfit and out came my camera. We played horse shoes until it started to rain but I was lucky enough to get this photo before the rain started. Tonight I hope to get some sleep and not be awaken by shaking tomorrow. I hope everyone has a glorious weekend. God Bless
